Hope all is well with you. 🫶

I think I finally understood on how I’m going to use this platform. 😹

Starting today, I’ll just use this as my platform to update you (my Digital Friend) on my progress from the past week. 📈

I just can’t make a promise to send my progress weekly but I’ll do my best. 💪

Quick wins ⚡️

My freelancing business is striving. Praise God! 🙌

A previous colleague of my mine (in Financial Times) is now the CTO of a startup in Dubai, reached out to me 2 weeks ago and asked if I could help them build a Modern Data Stack.

It’s a short-term project though. Just enough to get by next month. But I’m really grateful. 🙏

And I wrote an article about how I started in designing their MDS in 1 day here.

Slow growth 🌱

Last week, I also started writing & publishing regularly in my new blog site that I just repurposed from another recent project.

Also, I started writing from this newsletter but this one would be the official issue #1 as I felt like I my previous articles should be on my blog. ✍️

Knowing that this new small bets of mine fall under the slow growth category helps me set my mindset that this will be a very long journey.

The In Between 😅

Last but not the least, I was able to rebuild my first official digital product - Happy Home. 🏡

However, the process is heart breaking as I removed 80% of my hard work just so I can still launch this project even as a template in Glide Store.

In which I will try to do this week, hopefully. 🤞
