My 3 Small Bets Categories

It's easier to say "small bets" than "many small income streams" isn't it?

As a newbie in this movement, I’m still trying to figure out how this works and what other small bets I can do. But for now, I just made up these 3 categories as my guide:

Short term or Quick wins

Under this term falls my very first small bet which is Freelancing.

My freelancing story deserves it’s own space so watch out for it. (It’s about my journey in building a Data & Product Analytics Consulting Business in times of uncertainty.)

But for now, this small bet of mine is my major source of income.

And so far, it can keep me from having a boss again. 😉

Long term or Slow growth

For my long term small bets, you are actually looking at it. 😊

Yep, this newsletter is one of my small bet together with my new blog site as I expect that this could really take time for these to grow.

And I need to start writing consistently and keep doing this for years.

Hence, the long term or slow growth category.

Medium term or the In Between

Lastly the medium term or the “in between” as I don’t know what to call this pace.

It won’t be a quick win as this needs a couple of months to build like a digital product, software-as-a-service a.k.a. SaaS or an e-commerce shop.

In which I already have a real life example — Happy Home app. 😅

However, I hit some limitation as I’m fully dependent on Glide which is the no-code tool I use to build it. 😭

But I’m currently doing a major re-build so I can still sell it as a template. 🚧

I’ll announce it once it is already available in the Glide Store. 🛍️
